Summer Camps

2025 Youth Summer Learn to Row Camps

Rowing is a great team-oriented sport that is low-impact, provides a full-body workout, and teaches focus & drive. Each of our summer camps teaches the fundamentals of rowing, understanding that campers have probably never touched an oar before. Experienced members of our youth team assist the learn to row camps, mentoring new rowers.

Campers should be 12 years old or in 6th grade. For exceptions contact the coach or BRC.

NEW THIS YEAR: The first camp (July 14-18) will be for middle schoolers only so they can be surrounded by athletes their own age. Note that middle schoolers are also welcome to attend other dates. The three remaining dates will be available to high schoolers. Please Contact Us if you are a high schooler who is only available July 14-18 or if you have any other questions.

Also, we are partnering with Charlotte Youth Rowing to run these summer camps so you will have the support and expertise of coaches and current athletes from both programs. Charlotte area and Gaston County athletes are encouraged to sign up and indicate which team you are interested in the “add an order note” when checking out.

Camps will be held at the Belmont Rowing Center location: 1500 River Drive, Belmont, NC 28012

Financial Aid Available

We offer financial aid scholarships for youth camps based on need. These scholarships are limited by fund availability. Learn more and apply here.
